Welcome to the Bunker

Welcome to the second post on the BeyondFaucet Blog! In this post we will go over what Bunkercoin is and what’s in store for the future of the project.

Welcome to the bunker, Bunkercoin (BKC) was created as a meme coin like Dogecoin with an infinite supply, but one with plans of being able to be mined on many different algorithms and community friendly. Currently you can only mine Bunkercoin on the Scrypt algorithm like how you would traditionally mine Litecoin or Dogecoin. The developers are currently working on implementing a multi-algorithm mining system like that of Digibyte to allow for users to mine on many different algorithms allowing for easier mining on low-powered devices compared to ASIC miners such as GPUs and CPUs in the future. Bunkercoin is overall more of a fun coin with neat projects in store and an active community of developers. At the time of writing this post, there is no set deadline for multi-algo mining, but I’m assuming it should be coming by sometime early to mid of next year (2024). Overall, Bunkercoin is a neat coin to explore if you’re looking for a new coin to check out or want to experiment with, especially regarding mining it.
